About

At the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship and organization development, I am currently the founder and managing director of AnLuMa, a consultancy firm building future proof organizations and an assistant professor at Nyenrode Business Universiteit.

My drive is to build Meaningful organizations for positive change. This comes from my past professional experiences that taught me that products and business models are necessary but not sufficient to create impact. At the end of the day, people do; hence my current dedication to organization development. AnLuMa offers a range of services to inspire, explore and implement meaningful practices. Check our services page here. Our services are based on insights from pioneer organizations all over the world. These insights and cases are shared on the AnLuMa blog page. Contact us if you want to get started with future proof organizations via this email. Each journey starts with a first step!

At Nyenrode, as an assistant professor, I lecture and research on the next stage of organization management.  Especially, I am researching alternative organizational and management routines as a driver for sustainability performance and employee engagement. As an emerging research topic in organization management, the research agenda aims at revealing: What are the pre-conditions for alternative form of organization and management routines to emerge? What are the key steps to implement alternative organizations and management routines? Especially looking at bottom up or viral strategies. What are the characteristics of leaders in Meaningful Organizations?

I was the managing Director of the Inclusive Business Accelerator (IBA) and established IBA as an independent foundation. At IBA, I built and nurtured partnerships with industrial partners, public authorities, NGOs, and social entrepreneurs to develop and scale ventures with impact. I also initiated there the Academy: a one stop shop for building expertise on Inclusive Business.

Prior to joining the BoP innovation center and IBA, I was the deputy manager of the programme “Innovation for Development” and, the co-founder and leader of the ” ICT for Development” market team at TNO, the Dutch Organization for Applied Scientific Research. Adding to my international experience, I had been a guest researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), USA, to carry out my PhD work and an international volunteer for the international organization “Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie” in Madagascar.

I hold a PhD and engineering degree from the National Institute of Telecommunications (France) and completed my education with executive training on social entrepreneurship at INSEAD.
